Simple forms and geometry bring light into the space.

Hill House

The existing house, formerly a convent, is a dominant and attractive period building. Internally, the house had beautifully proportioned rooms, but the lower ground floor level did not work. By adding a glazed pavilion extension, with a substantial canopy roof, we created a modern, open space for a new kitchen, dining and sitting area, opening directly into the garden. The slimline glazing and canopy, blur the line between inside and out and creates an external space that can be used year-round.
